Die BAFTA-Awards 2012

Zwei Wochen vor den Oscars küren die Briten die besten Filme des vergangenen Jahres. Dabei setzte "The Artist" seinen Siegeszug weiter fort mit sensationellen sieben Preisen.

Bevor die ganze Filmwelt gespannt ins Kodak Theatre nach Hollywood zu den Academy Awards guckt, wurde der Fokus gestern auf London gerichtet. Dort kürte die British Academy of Film and Television Arts die Top-Filme des letzten Jahres. Die Gewinner sehen dabei ähnlich aus wie die Prognosen für die Oscars. Und so verwundert es auch nicht, dass The Arist am meisten Preise eingeheimst hat. Das Stummfilmdrama von Michel Hazanavicius holte ganze sieben Auszeichnungen. Hinten anstehen mussten Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Iron Lady, Hugo und der Dokumentarfilm Senna, die alle je zwei Preise holten. Ganz leer ausgingen derweil The Descendants, Moneyball, Shame, War Horse und Drive.
