Die BAFTA-Awards 2011
Zwei Wochen vor den Oscars küren die Briten die besten Filme des vergangenen Jahres.
Bevor die ganze Filmwelt gespannt ins Kodak Theatre nach Hollywood zu den Academy Awards guckt, wurde der Fokus gestern auf London gerichtet. Dort kührte die British Academy of Film and Television Arts die Top-Filme des letzten Jahres. Die Gewinner sehen dabei ähnlich aus wie die Prognosen für die Oscars. Grosser Sieger war wieder einmal The King's Speech, der zwar nur die Hälfte der Preise, für er nominiert war, gewann. Doch sieben Preise sind immer noch besser als die drei, welche Inception und The Social Network holten. Zudem gewann Tom Hoopers Film in den wichtigen Kategorien "Best Film", "Outstanding British Film of the Year" und "Best Actor".
