"X-Men: First Class 2": Regisseur Vaughn kehrt zurück
Yessssssss! Der Brite wird auch das Sequel zur Mutantenvorgeschichte inszenieren. Ebenfalls erfreulich ist, dass X-Men-Mastermind Bryan Singer auch wieder an Bord sein wird.
Bei Teil zwei hätten wir aber gerne ein besseres Poster...
Wir erinnern uns, dass Fox wegen des Deals mit Marvel unbedingt im Jahre 2011 noch schnell einen neuen X-Men-Film ins Kino bringen musste. Obwohl man dies dem Film an einigen Stellen ansah und sich Regisseur Matthew Vaughn gerne über die schwierigen Bedingungen äusserte, entstand ein überzeugendes Ergebnis. Es gewann wieder die Fanboys und Fangirls zurück, nach den eher mässigen The Last Stand und Wolverine.
X-Men: First Class war der am wenigsten erfolgreiche Film der Mutantensaga, trotzdem hatte der Film letzten Endes 353 Millionen Gründe, fortgesetzt zu werden.
Jetzt ist das Zeitfenster gross genug, um in aller Ruhe das Sequel zu First Class zu planen. Wohl auch deshalb konnte man wieder Vaughn für den Regieposten gewinnen. Simon Kinberg (X-Men: The Last Stand, Sherlock Holmes) wurde für das Drehbuch angeheuert und Bryan Singer (X-Men, X-Men 2) wird wieder als Produzent fungieren.
Über die Story von X-Men: First Class 2 wird momentan gemunkelt, dass Magneto sich aufmachen wird, JFK unter die Erde zu bringen. Auch soll dem Vietnamkrieg eine grössere Rolle zugesprochen werden. Drehstart zum Sequel wird wohl erst im Jahre 2013 sein, da Michael Fassbender und Jennifer Lawrence in diesem Jahr zu beschäftigt sein werden, um in ihre Rollen Magneto und Mystique zurückzukehren.
