"Fantastic Four"-Reboot: Regisseur Trank weiss von nichts
20th Century Fox muss sich wohl auf die Suche nach einem anderen Regisseur machen. Der "Chronicle"-Macher Josh Trank hat nicht vor, die Serie um Human Torch und Co. neuzustarten.

Wir berichteten, dass Fox plant, die Fantastic Four nochmals neuzustarten. Der Vertrag, welcher Fox mit Marvel abgeschlossen hat, besagt, dass sie alle paar Jahre einen Film drehen müssen, damit die Rechte nicht wieder zurück an Marvel gehen. Deshalb entstand auch vor einem Jahr der etwas gehetzte, aber trotzdem ganz gut gelungene X-Men: First Class.
Der Name Josh Trank wurde im Zusammenhang mit dem Reboot von Fantastic Four in den letzten Wochen oft genannt. Doch als die Kollegen von superherohype.com beim Regisseur persönlich nachfragten, wusste der gar nicht, wovon die redeten: "Ich bin gerade ziemlich beschäftigt mit dem Fertigstellen von Chronicle. Ich hörte dieses Gerücht selbst erst, als es sich im Internet verbreitete. Das ist schräg, und ich habe dazu nichts zu sagen. Chronicle ist genau die Art Superheldenfilm, die ich machen möchte. Ich will originelle Ideen."
Chronicle dreht sich um drei Jugendliche, die plötzlich Superkräfte erhalten und damit zuerst allerlei Blödsinn anstellen, bevor es für sie und ihre Mitmenschen gefährlich wird.
Dies hört sich eindeutig innovativer an als ein Reboot einer Serie, die bisher auf der Leinwand weniger überzeugte. Ob man dieses Statement als Absage an Fox deuten kann, wird sich zeigen.
Der etwas andere Superheldenfilm startet kommendes Wochenende in den Staaten. Der Schweizer Kinosstart ist am 19. April 2012.
