Liam Neeson erobert die US-Kinocharts
Liam Neeson und sein Kampf gegen die Wölfe in "Grey" haben dieses Wochenende mehr Leute in die US-Kinos gelockt als die Konkurrenz. Da muss auch Kate Beckinsale hinten anstehen.
Erfolgreiches Heulen mit Liam
Nachdem sich letzte Woche Underworld: Awakening die Nummer Eins der US-Kinocharts schnappen konnte, wurde der vierte Teil der Vampir-Reihe mit Kate Beckinsale bereits wieder verdrängt. Und zwar von Liam Neeson, der in The Grey im Eis gegen Wölfe kämpfen muss. Das haben die Zuschauer scheinbar goutiert und dem Film ein Einspielergebnis von 20 Millionen Dollar gesichert.
Nummer Zwei ist Underworld: Awakening, der noch einmal 12,5 Millionen einspielen konnte und somit auch schon bei 45 Millionen steht. Bei einem geschätzten Budget von 70 Millionen Dollar muss da aber noch etwas Gas gegeben werden. One for the Money heisst die neue Komödie mit Katherine Heigl, die in der ersten Woche knapp 12 Millionen eingespielt hat und sich somit den letzten Platz auf dem Podest sichern konnte.
Dahinter folgt mit Red Tails die Nummer Zwei von letzter Woche und auch Man on a Ledge schafft die Top-Five. Hierfür reichen ihm gerade mal 8,3 Millionen Dollar Einspiel.
Witzig, was Oscarnomination ausmachen können. So sind die einzigen Filme, welche diese Woche in den Charts aufgestiegen sind, die Oscarfilme The Descendants, The Artist und Hugo. Soll mal einer sagen, der goldene Kerl hätte keine Einwirkung auf das Einspielergebnis....
Nächste Woche startet Daniel Radcliffe seine Suche nach der Woman in Black, der mit Spannung erwartete Film Chronicle feiert Premiere und auch Madonna bringt ihren Film W.E unters Volk. Ob's wohl einer dieser Filme an die Spitze der Charts schafft? Oder müssen wir wohl noch eine Woche länger warten, bis dann George Lucas seine Phantom Menace in 3D auf die Jünger loslässt?
