Oscars 2012: Die Nominationen
Michel Hazanavicius' Stummfilmdrama "The Artist" darf sich Hoffnungen auf zehn Preise machen. Zu den Gewinnern zählen auch Rooney Mara und Gary Oldman, während Leonardo DiCaprio keine Oscarchance hat.
Um diese Preise hier geht es.
The Artist setzt seinen Siegeszug weiter fort. Der Stummfilm holt ganze zehn Nominationen, darunter diejenigen für den besten Film, den besten Hauptdarsteller, die beste Nebendarstellerin und das beste Originaldrehbuch. Doch ein Film holte sogar noch eine Nomination mehr: Martin Scorseses Hugo.
Wo es Gewinner gibt, hat es auch meist Verlierer: Einer ist sicherlich Albert Brooks, der für seine Darstellung des Bernie Ross in Drive nicht nominiert wurde. Umso erfreulicher ist es, dass Gary Oldman trotz starker Konkurrenz nominiert ist für den Oscar als bester Darsteller. Für ihn musste wohl Leonardo DiCaprio weichen. Auch sonst lässt sich Clint Eastwoods J. Edgar nirgends finden. Bei den Trickfilmen heissen die Verlierer Cars 2 und auch Golden Globe-Gewinner TinTin.

Wie ich das mitbekommen habe, ist "Extremely Loud..." ein ziemlicher "love it or hate it"-Film. Hat wohl auch mit dem Thema 9/11 zu tun. Da sind die US-Kinogänger und Kritiker immer noch recht heikel... |
Ich mag mich an kein Jahr erinnern in dem die Oscar Favoriten (Best Film) so schlechte imdb.com Wertungen hatten. "Extremely Loud..." hat gerade mal 6.2 |

die übliche Reisbrettnominationen, wo schon bei anderen Awards ausgezeichnet wurden und man sich auch da gefragt hat, weshalb. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo ist auch zuviel dabei, denn hier wurde ausser gut kopiert wirklich nur solide inszeniert. Na mal gucken, werde jedenfalls probieren, bis zur Show den einen oder anderen nachzuholen...
Wie erwartet, keine Überraschungen. Oder doch? Ja, wenn man bedenkt, dass J. Edgar ausgelassen wurde. Muss sich wohl um eine politische Entscheidung handeln. Wie dem auch sei, bei der Kategorie Best Motion Picture hat's doch einige meiner Favoriten drin. Kleines Detail am Rande: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo wurde auch fast nur in technischer Hinsicht nominiert. Na?
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close kommt nicht mal auf 50% bei Rotten Tomatoes und ist nominiert für den besten Film?
Schade finde ich es um Michael Fassbender. Hat das NC17-Rating für Shame ihm die Nomination gekostet? Auch keine Spur von Michael Shannon. Seine Performance in Take Shelter war etwas vom besten, dass ich letztes Jahr gesehen habe. Aber die Konkurrenz war in dieser Kategorie auch brutal.
Ansonsten zeigen die Nominationen schön auf, was für ein mässiges Kinojahr es war.
Etwas überraschend finde ich, das Super 8 bei den beiden Sound Oscars keine Anerkennung gefunden hat und dass Contagian eine Nomination für den besten Schnitt verwehrt wurde...
Tintin wurde nicht nominiert aber dafür Puss in Boots? Das kapiere ich jetzt aber nicht wirklich.
Bei den Animationsfilmen würde ich jetzt "Cars 2" nicht zu den Verlieren zählen. Eine Nomination war da sicherlich nicht erwartet worden. Jetzt hat man 3 Publikumshits und 2 Aussenseiter. Wobei Kung Fu Panda 2 und Puss in Boots eher schlechte Karten haben.
Soviele Nominationen für Hugo find ich gar nicht gut, denn einmal mehr könnte ein Film von Scorsese schlussendlich als "Verlierer" aus der Show gehen. Wobei "Verlierer" ja etwas hart ist... Und das "Moneyball" ein Oscar-Film sein würde, hätt ich jetzt nicht erwartet....
