"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo": Laufzeitprobleme
Finchers Remake von "Män som hatar kvinnor" ist drei Stunden lang - und das ist dem Produktionsstudio Sony eindeutig zu lang. Die Schmerzgrenze liegt bei zwei Stunden und 20 Minuten.

Es ist eines der wohl meist erwarteten Filmprojekte der kommenden Monate. David Finchers Film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo verspricht, harte Kost und spannende Unterhaltung zu bieten. Die Dreharbeiten wurden abgeschlossen und seit längerem sitzt Herr Fincher nun im Schneideraum. Jetzt ist seine erste Version fertig - und die passt Sony so überhaupt nicht.
Die ungekürzte Fassung, welche angefertigt wurde, hat eine Spielzeit von satten drei Stunden. Sony fordert nun eine kürzere Fassung, welche höchstens zwei Stunden und 20 Minuten dauert. Witziges Detail am Rande: Das schwedische Original lief ebenfalls in einer etwa 2:20:00-Fassung in den Kinos und wurde dann im Fernsehen und später auch auf DVD in einer Drei-Stunden-Fassung herausgebracht.
Schon bei Zodiac waren sich Regisseur und Produktionsstudio nicht einig. Damals lief in den Kinos eine kürzere Fassung und der Director's Cut erschien dann auf DVD. Wie es bei The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ausgehen wird, bleibt abzuwarten. Schweizer Kinostart ist der 12. Januar 2012.

Ich wäre sehr froh, wenn man die 3h-Version herausbringen würde. Habe mir die Director's Cut Versionen des Originals angeschaut und das war es allemal wert. Denn die Bücher verfügen über einen solchen umfangreichen Inhalt, dass man nur eine lange Fassung herausbringen darf, wenn man es richtig machen will. (Zudem wurde mir während den 3x3 Stunden nie langweilig!!!) |
